The Club was formed in 1987, playing in the Leicester and District Sunday League Division 2. Players were mainly from the Stocking Farm Estate and we played under the name of "The Last Straw 87 F.C."

Three years in Sunday football saw us win promotion to Division 1 where we secured a third spot finish two years running. We also made two Bostik Senior Cup Final appearances and won the McEwans 5-a-side tournament at Beaumont Leys. However Sunday afternoon football was dying and the move to mornings meant ultimately the end to our involvement in Sunday football.

Season 1988/89 saw the Club beginning Saturday football, in the Mutual League Division 2. However two seasons later, whilst playing in Division 1, a move to the more competitive City League Division 3 followed.

With the finish of Sunday football, season 1991/92 saw the Saturday side become the new flagship of the Club. We just failed to make a double as we lost in the replay of the Medals B Cup Final having become Division 3 champions. Our prize was promotion to Division 1, and we introduced a 2nd team.

Our next successes were in the season 1994/5, firstly finishing as Runners-up in the division, thereby gaining promotion to the Premier Division, and secondly as League Cup Finalists. We introduced a 3rd team.

Season 1996/97 was an eventful one. We transfered our allegiance to the Belgrave WMC and celebrated 10 years in local football in fine style. We won the Premier Division Championship, the Steve Jones Cup and just missed out on an incredible treble by losing in the League Cup Final. Seven players went on to represent the City League squad.

The following season 1997/98 saw us relinquish our League Champions crown after a poor start, but nevertheless we went on to finish as Runners-up. We reached the highest possible level of competition, playing in The Page & Moy Junior Cup Final where we unfortunately lost 3-2 to Thurmaston Town.

Season 1998/99 and we repeated our Runners-up finish in the league. We made a second Steve Jones Cup Final appearance, unfortunately losing out to Goodwood 4-3. We won the 6-a-side tournament held at Aylestone. Our 2nd team won their first award, finishing as Runners-up in Division 3.

Season 1999/2000 was a fresh challenge. We moved the first team to the District League, where we enjoyed immediate success as Division 1 Champions and also claimed the Saturday Shield.
The 2nd & 3rd teams remained in the City League, but this necessitated a name change. As such our sister Club, F.C.Belgrave makes its appearance in Divisions 2 & 4.

Season 2000/2001 sees us now playing in the District League Premier Division and our 2nd team have left the City League to play in the District League Reserves section - Division 2. Our 3rd team stay in the City League but have a severe challenge, playing in Division 1.
